Such Memories!

Oh yeah, this was my first drafting assignment. Well the first one after drafting boxes and other rectangle shapes. But what this space really is, is the open space that the Department of Architecture would use for lectures and most importantly, the space where we'd hold our Christmas, Halloween and Ditchball Dance Parties....Oh I've gotta find some pictures and post them (gotta get myself to the storage room first). Many a drunken fool danced around here. On a side note, those were the doors to our lecture rooms...snoozefest! This is the corridoor to the offices, library, green quad, and the above mentioned area. Behind the glass doors were where we set up the beer and booze selling for our gatherings. I passed out many o'beers and rum and cokes here. This is also the last place I drank Lemon Gin.

Thanks. Seeing these images of the Russell Building again are giving me involuntary twitches. There goes 15+ years of therapy/recovery.

FWIW - I've been in the MTS Training Center and they have all the elements you've included - chairs, tables, ceiling tiles, the whole bit.

None, however, were stacked one on top of the other. As always - design gets lost in implementation.
