The Burger Bar

I think that restaurants in Vegas are purposely dark, so people like me can't take pictures of the food or interior. The Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay has been on my list of places to eat in Vegas since I saw it on Rachel Ray about a year ago. Check it out if you're there. Sweet potato fries, who can resist!

THEhotel

Gorgeous

I did a rushed 10 min tour of THEhotel (Mandalay Bay) and was pleasantly surprised to see such attention to the entrance from the carpark.

Dishes

Todd Oldman exhibit

It's okay to lie, I'm a lawyer...bwahahahahaha.

This sucks more. It sure does.

Once upon a time...

This is where my Crocs obsession began.

Faberge at the Venetian

TAO Nightclub

It was next to impossible to get a picture of the entrance because of the tourist traffic going on infront. I'll keep trying to get better photos the next time I'm in Vegas.

La Reve, Wynn

La Reve, is spectacular. I've seen Cirque's Zumanity at New York, New York as well as Ka at the MGM Grand. Check out some of the Youtube clips people have. For the safety of the performers we were asked not to take photos with flash. I didn't bother taking any at all during the show, however there were a few idiots who did. I'd hate to be responsible for someone fatal head injury.

Wynn details

Lake of Dreams, Wynn

More construction

All the big hotels are building condo's just behind their properties, these are the ones being built behind MGM Grand. I love this shot for some reason!

Sweet Tooth

As you've probably guessed, I love taking pictures of sweets and desserts. I can't even imagine eating one of these things. I wasn't sure at first what I was taking a picture of until I saw the photos. Turns out if you've got a craving for sweet and salty, you can have a chocolate/candy covered pretzel. And for those people who need a major sugar rush...you've got the candy/chocolate covered caramel popcorn balls. Yikes!

MGM Grand Restaurants

There are more restaurants at the MGM Grand, however we were only passing through so there wasn't too much time to stop and take photos. From top to bottom, Wolfgang Pucks, Shibuya and Emeril's.

Star Trek Monorail

This is the Star Trek monorail, they aren't all covered in ads for the attraction. Last year when we were on it there was this man who was almost 7 feet tall dressed up as Warf. Oh and you can see our room at Bally's, its the fourth one over from the left 2nd highest floor.

Speaking of Money

This is what a million dollars looks like. So when you're watching a movie and someone is walking around with $1 000 000 in non-sequential small bills, they'd probably need more than a duffle bag and it better look heavy.

Publicity Stunt?

This billboard lasted less than 24hours. I wonder why? There was an acrylic box filled with $100 000 cash along with a sleeping security guard beneath. Apparently a man in a cape climbed up to the top and smashed it with a hammer, money was literally falling out of the sky that night on the strip.

Bye-bye Stardust

While we were in Vegas, it was announced that the Stardust was going to be taken down for another new resort casino. We ventured to that end of the strip to get a photo because it no longer existed.

Just Passing Thru

We did alot of walking through the Paris hotel while heading back to Bally's. This time I actually stopped and took a picture on our way to the main entrance.
