Red Rock Canyon

When we were out here in September, it was so hot we didn't get out of the car and noticed most people didn't either. The driving tour is roughly 15 miles, of beautiful scenery. This past December there were many people hiking and rock climbing (as seen in the pictures).

Testing out the new toy at Red Rock Canyon

AM got me a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi for Christmas, actually a couple weeks before, so I could learn how to use it! I love it, it is totally awesome. Sadly I haven't had the time to use it since the December trip to Vegas.

Invaders from the Planet Moohlah

And my new favourite penny slot is Invaders from the Planet Moohlah! I never saw more than two on a casino floor, thats if I could even find one!

Gold Fish

This penny slot machine provided me with hours and hours of fun. There are five different bonus games that come out of no where and one that you know is coming when you see the fish food pop up. Five months ago you could walk up to a machine and play no problem, now you have to stalk it and stand in line to get on one. But that could have been because of the influx of holiday Vegas travelers.

No Rhyme or Reason

This is my disclaimer, there was a lack of blogging in the 4th quarter of last year. So as I come across some of my photos, I'm just going to blog about it. So if you see Australia photos again they're from July 2007, I didn't go there twice in the past 7 months. However, we did go to Vegas again in December! Cha-ching!

It Snowed

Way back in December, it snowed, twice. We care currently snowless, but there may be freezing rain this weekend. This was the second "storm" of the season. And NO, the mayor didn't have to call in the army!

Happy New Year!

Yes, I know we're midway through January, I don't know how time got away from me this quickly. Work his so busy, but it is fulfilling. I had a bad cold which knocked me out for about a week, the cough is still around sadly.

I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and that 2008 is fantastic for all.

And Happy Original Birthday AM! and J1 (for tomorrow) and AM again ;)
